Destiny Best Pvp Scout Rifle House of Wolves
Destiny House of Wolves DLC - New Exotic Armour and Weapons
Posted in destiny
Destiny's second DLC chosen "House of Wolves" (HoW) features a similar number of Exotic weapons and armour every bit the drove which came packaged with The Dark Below. An Exotic shotgun called the Lord of Wolves and the 347 Vesta Dynasty scout rifle make their first appearance in this DLC forth with 9 exotic armour pieces.
Unlike Raid weapons and armour, Exotic gear can be earned through Nightfall rewards, Legendary Engrams, Prison of Elders rewards and chests, and most chiefly - bought from Xur! Simply every bit more Exotics enter the game the chance of finding DLC Exotics diminishes making it even more important to sympathise the full range before departing with any Strange Coins.
House of Wolves lends generously towards Warlocks this fourth dimension effectually. Sunsingers and Voidwalkers get their chance to earn some useful Exotics in the shape of The Ram and Zilch Manacles. Striker Titan'southward get all three Exotic pieces promoting fifty-fifty more smashing of fists! Hunters take the questionable Exotics in this DLC and only time volition tell how useful they turn out to be.
Hither's the list of all Exotic armour and weapons included in the House of Wolves DLC...
Eternal Warrior (Helmet)
Class: Titan (Striker)
Special Perk: Resolute - Provides Unstoppable for Fist of Havoc.
This Titan Helmet is aimed squarely at the Striker form thanks to it'southward upgrade perks of Pelting Blows and Resolute. Resolute in particular will reduce damage during the Fist of Havoc power slam making your Striker Titan immune to damage. Although not an amazing perk, information technology does come in handy when smashing groups of exploding enemies such equally Thralls or when y'all're in the direct line of a Captains Shrapnel Launcher.
The Ram (Helmet)
Class: Warlock (Voidwalker)
Special Perk: Strength of the Ram - increased armour and all Voidwalker melee hits trigger life steal.
This ones aimed squarely at the underused Voidwalker class. It's basic perks called Infusion and Scholars Draw provide players with replenished health for picking upward Orbs and bonus Super energy for killing an enemy with melee. But of form the terminal and evidently all-time perk for The Ram is Strength of the Ram which provides a guaranteed Life Steal every fourth dimension you connect with a melee hit (in the Voidwalker class).
For those unfamiliar with Life Steal this niggling infant grants the actor an immediate health top up and a few seconds of health regen. Thus past using The Ram, Voidwalkers who take spent far too long blasting Nova Bombs from distance will have the confidence to become in for melee attacks like their Titan cousins.
Exotac Affections Hunter (Helmet)
Course: Hunter
Special Perk: Angel Hunter - increased weapon accuracy after jumping
This Hunter Helmet plays into the hands of both Bladedancers and Gunslinger'south. I'chiliad a little sceptical how adept it's special perk is going to exist though. Angel Hunter will increase your weapons accuracy for a curt time later on jumping which sounds rather dull but does it mean that you're more likely to become head shots after jumping or but that your gun becomes more stable? If information technology's the old then guaranteed headshots would make this armour piece an interesting asset for Hunters.
ACD/0 Feedback Debate (Gauntlets)
Class: Titan
Special Perk: Wrath Conductors - deal damage when under melee assail.
Another great Titan Exotic, perfectly suited to those who love slap-up things with their fists! Not merely practice these Exotic gauntlets come with Rain Blows (which increases melee attack speed) just coming nether melee set on yourself volition immediately deal damage in the nearby expanse. The exact strength of this impairment isn't huge but is still welcome in a straight fist fight.
Purifier Robes (Chest)
Class: Warlock (Sunsinger)
Special Perk: Fire Brighter - disorient enemies afterward using Radiance.
Another heady Warlock Exotic which makes you retrieve that Bungie are trying to ameliorate on the Warlocks dismal by. This Exotic chest piece contains ii perks which work in tandem: Ophidian's Mouth and Snake'south Tail will reduce the cool downward of your grenade from melee attacks and vice versa your melee cool downwardly will reduce from grenades. But ultimately the best perk for this exotic chest piece is the Fire Brighter perk which was stolen from The Ram exotic just earlier Firm of Wolves released.
Fire Brighter is the perfect compliment for those Sunsinger Guardians who love to continue the Super in their back pocket for unexpected deaths. Equally all Warlocks know, Radiance is an amazing power just when surrounded by enemies you lot can hands get trapped or meleed to death once again very quickly. The Burn Brighter perk will disorient nearby enemies when Radiance is activated from the grave. Much like the Helmet of Saint-14 which blinds enemies within the Titan bubble this perk will purchase y'all and your team some fourth dimension to regain control.
Ikaheka's Hooks (Gauntlets)
Class: Hunter
Special Perk: Bear upon of Venom - hitting an enemy with melee whilst invisible will inflict impairment over time.
A brightly coloured and strange looking Gauntlet slice, the Ikaheka'south Hooks have a rather interesting special perk. When invisible Hunters can cause damage over time to an enemy simply by using their melee assail. The immediate use for this seems to point to a stalker attack whereby invisible Hunter'southward pitter-patter up to a dominate, take a melee set on unaware and silently pitter-patter out again. As long as the impairment over time is considerable enough so this Exotic slice volition be loftier on the listing for Hunters.
Peregrine Greaves (Boots)
Class: Titan (Striker)
Special Perk: Peregrine Strike - shoulder accuse deals bonus damage when activated in the air.
Catering to a really specific situation, these Titan boots seem to be a kamikaze special. Anyone brave enough to shoulder charge through the air will receive bonus damage against their enemies. In my opinion this seems similar something you'd rarely use unless you lot're out for fun and so I'm not convinced this Exotic will be loftier upwardly the listing.
Nix Manacles (Gauntlets)
Grade: Warlock (Voidwalker)
Special Perk: The Cold Equation - kills with Void Light grant a shield.
At final a adept Warlock exotic which caters to the Voidwalker subclass. Nothing Manacles offers a bonus shield whenever you lot gain kills with Void Low-cal. Void Light kills come from both the Void Super and besides the Axion Bolt grenade, giving you 2 avenues for earning a welcome shield. Comparable to the Sunsinger flame shield but with a better advantage in my opinion of not requiring you lot to get up shut for melee attacks.
Update Mail service-DLC Bungie have nerfed this exotic and information technology no longer includes the The Common cold Equation perk (shield). Instead, the unique perk was changed to Scatter Charge - Besprinkle Grenades take a tracking ability. This makes Zilch Manacles less desirable than earlier.
Unremarkable Bones (Boots)
Form: Hunter
Special Perk: Not Jump by Law - upgrades double spring with an additional leap
Another Hunter Exotic with a questionable Special Perk. Hunters already have a Triple Jump skill so what volition the "Non Bound past Law" perk add together to the equation? Well, Triple Jump does provide Hunters with the ability to bound 3 times which is great for venturing beyond long horizontal chasms but not so good at reaching great heights. This perk will probably exist more similar the Higher Spring power, allowing players to reach bully vertical heights. With that said, do we really want to occupy an Exotic slot just for this? Probably non.
Dreg'southward Promise (Sidearm)
Special perks: Unknown at this phase simply the base perk guarantees that Dreg's Promise always comes with a full ammo clip upon respawn.
Dreg's Promise is a new weapon type entirely - known every bit a Sidearm. Bungie managed to keep this sucker a secret correct up to the Firm of Wolves reveal trailer, just one week earlier launch!
This arc damage weapon has an incredibly high Rate of Fire, Stability and Reload rating but is compensated by a relatively weak Impact rating. This is the norm for Sidearms which make their showtime appearance in the House of Wolves DLC. It also consumes the Special weapon slot along with Fusion Rifles, Shotguns and Sniper Rifles.
347 Vesta Dynasty (Picket Rifle)
Special Perks: David, Goliath.
The first of the Exotic weapons included in the House of Wolves DLC, this kinetic lookout rifle has ii aptly named perks chosen David and Goliath. If you lot think back to the biblical story, David was a modest but quick opponent who used an accurate sling whereas Goliath was a huge opponent that relied heavily on his armour and shield.
Bungie have translated this meaning to the game though the 2 perks. The Goliath perk grants the role player an increment to Armour for fifteen seconds for non-precision kills whilst the David perk gives the role player an increment to Agility for fifteen seconds for precision kills.
Lord of Wolves (Shotgun)
Special Perks: Devils Bear on.
Shotguns may not exist the almost popular guns in PvE only they certainly have their place in PvP. This unique Exotic weapon chosen Lord of Wolves (which may exist a Prison of Elders Exotic) has a rather interesting special perk called Devil's Touch - successfully gaining several hits has the chance to set your opponent on fire causing damage over fourth dimension (DoT). Whether this proves more useful in PvP or PvE remains to be seen.
Queenbreakers Bow (Fusion Sniper Rifle)
A cross between a Fusion Burglarize and a Sniper Rifle, this exotic weapon was a late edition to the House of Wolves DLC. Looking very futuristic, the sniper comes with two scopes; "Combat Sights" for close range and quick charge time, and "Marksmans Sights" for long range and standard fusion charge fourth dimension. Both of these sights are selectable through the weapons perk tree.
Unfortunately, the Queenbreakers Bow withal behaves similar a standard fusion rifle: requiring a lengthy accuse fourth dimension earlier a shot is fired. Unless you're skillful enough to scope and predict enemy movement, the charge time tin can hands result in missed shots from long range.
Besides the cool looking scopes the weapon does come up with Arc damage and a hefty chunk of ammo (upwards to eighty bullets from spawn). These features may be plenty to convince players to bring the Queenbreakers Bow forth for Arc impairment Nightfall's and PVP matches where special ammo is in short supply.
Special Perks: Dual scopes and the "Hidden Hand" perk provides improved target conquering.
